Digital Content Specialist

Beacon Technologies has an immediate opening for an experienced Digital Content Specialist. The Digital Content Specialist will take ownership of client digital content needs and drive appropriate marketing actions to fulfill client business priorities, which includes:

• Regularly produce various types of digital content, including website content, email, social media posts, blogs and white papers
• Analyze content marketing metrics and makes changes as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to create innovative, effective content
• Participate in the creation and shaping of content and digital marketing strategies for various clients
• Edit content produced by other members of the team and/or clients
• Create SEO content marketing campaigns to drive conversions
• Incorporate clear and appropriate calls-to-actions within digital content to drive client digital marketing goals
• Conduct keyword and topic research as needed, including interviews with clients to better understand processes, goals and differentiators
• Write title tags, meta description, alt image and other SEO-oriented copy based on keyword research
• Assist with developing questions for surveys and focus groups
• Assist with producing data-driven insights about search engine visitor behavior from website data tracking traffic patterns, order volume, conversion funnel, navigation behavior, pathing, and product selection
• Proactively identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve web site effectiveness

Job Requirements

• Experience creating digital content (ideally 3+ years)
• Copywriting, blog writing and editing skills (agency writing experience a plus)
• Demonstrated knowledge in organic placement (SEO) strategies
• Ability to clearly communicate content strategies, analysis findings & recommendations to non-technical clients
• Ability to work on numerous concurrent projects and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical, marketing and communication skills
• Self-motivated, positive personality with excellent interpersonal skills
